Summary: Teaming with the Complexe Horticole d’Agadir and three other departments at the JBCVCSIC (Herbarium, Reproductive Biology & Micromorphology, and Seed Bank), we will investigate the relationships between the Canarian and Moroccan Flora through the assessment of the degree of genetic, micro-morphological and reproductive diversity interchange in several selected study cases. We will use cpDNA sequences and nuclear microsatellites to help assess the levels and directions of gene flow island-mainland. Furthermore, we will offer training in several aspects relevant to these objectives to give our future collaborations standardized and systematic good practice procedures.
